It's slim and relatively fast neck that is bolted to the body using four bolts. Ibanez SR400QM is very comfortable to play and well balanced, just like its predecessor.
For a mid range SR series, Ibanez SR400QM offers some features that you won't find in other basses in this price range. The electronics are active, and sport a 3-band EQ, which gives you more versatility and options when it comes to sound. CAP EXF-N2 pickups are great, and offer great sound that can be used in almost any application.
One of the only downsides of Ibanez SR400QM is the quality control. While it's a great bass guitar, the build quality is not always great. Some Ibanez SR400QMs will come with defects, so you need to carefully inspect these when you buy them.
