The Good: Beautiful and upscale design. Super sharp display and a great camera. A much better fingerprint scanner than on the previous model.
The Bad: Longtime fans of Samsung's flagship phone will be upset over the Galaxy S6's non-removable battery, and the absence of expandable storage. Battery life is unimpressive.
The Verdict: The Galaxy S6's design and top-notch specs make it one of the best phones in the world, especially at under $600.
Design and Build Quality
Samsung took a different direction when it comes to the design of the Galaxy S6. They abandoned the usual plastic cover found in the previous models, and finally stepped into the world of metal for its best-selling smartphone. The new design is much more premium and sturdy, and feels really nice to hold. In order to make an attractive and slim phone, Samsung decided to go with a somewhat smaller battery, which will disappoint some people.
Software and User Experience
The Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed. Like its predecessors, the S6 features Samsung's very own custom layer over Android called TouchWiz. However, unlike previous versions, the updated interface relies less on Samsung's additions and much more on Google's Material design, and users are loving the change!

The colors are rich, and the auto focus is quick and accurate. The camera is also capable of talking beautiful 4K video, as well as decent slow motion video, up to 240 frames per second.
