The Good: The phone's large and sharp screen is great for viewing media, and the experience is even better thanks to loud front speakers. The Moto X Style has expandable storage and charges very quickly.
The Bad: Some people will be turned off by the phone's huge size (it has a 5.7-inch screen after all). Battery life is disappointing.
The Verdict: If you like big phones, but don't want to spend a lot of money on one of the flagship phablets, the affordable Moto X Style is a great choice for you.
Design and Build Quality
The phone features a 5.7-inch display, which means it's far from a small phone that will easily fit in your front pockets. Unless you have huge hands, you'll also have trouble maneuvering it with one hand. The Moto X Style's size aside, it's definitely an attractive and quality device that won't feel cheap in your palm. If you're interested, Motorola gives you the option to customize the look of the device, and even use different back materials like plastic, bamboo, wood and leather, but keep in mind that this will raise the price of the handset.
Software and User Experience
The Moto X Style comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop installed, as well as a few of Motorola's own apps like the Moto app, which allows gesture controls, voice controls and more. The phone performs smoothly, and handles multitasking without any issues.
The Motorola's handset features a 21MP rear-facing camera that's capable of recording 4K video. Despite the high resolution, the camera failed to impress us. It's definitely not bad, but we expected more. Photos look decent, but they won't blow you away, especially the ones taken in low-light environments. There's also a 5MP front-facing camera that has its own flash.
Dimensions: 153.9 x 76.2 x 11.1 mm (6.06 x 3.00 x 0.44 in)
The Moto X Style is a great device for users who love phones with big screens and are willing to sacrifice portability for it. The high-resolution 5.7-inch screen is really good, and it's a pleasure to watch movies and videos on it. Keep in mind that such a big screen requires a lot power, which is why the battery life is not that great
