DVDFab Review

The Good: Comes with a friendly interface. Its intuitive controls enable even the casual users to make a DVD backup. It also supports multiple languages and produces flawless 1:1 disc copies.

The Bad: While compressing a DVD-9 to DVD-5 you may notice some colour bleeding distortion around the bright colored letters on a dark backdrop, particularly in the opening and closing credits. If you are viewing the DVD on a large screen HDTV, these distortions become more apparent. It takes approximately one hour to rip the entire movie from a DVD and at times, the sound of the movie may go out of the sync.

The Verdict: Although DVDFab is not the best DVD burning software, it is undeniably worth consideringation. Despite its shortcomings, DVDFab is ideal for basic users as it is affordable and enables them to create a DVD backup with little effort.

What makes DVDFab great DVD burning software?

If you are looking for simple and cheap DVD ripper that is highly powerful, you may consider buying DVDFab.

This application is priced at $199 for a year of updates. Moreover, you can also opt for a lifetime license that is a bit more expensive.

DVDFab is a flexible application that burns, copies and clones your videos swiftly and as per your preferences. It also supports extensive device profiles and covers almost all popular smart phones from Apple, Samsung, Google, LG, HTC, Motorola and tablets including Galaxy Tab, Nook, iPad, Kindle Fire, and much more. It has a video effect setting button that also allows you to modify the aspect ratio and screen resolution simply by clicking it. You can also crop any video by using the cropping tab in the same window.

This application is user-friendly and easy to navigate. It consists of an efficient set of configuration presets for various rendering devices but at the same time, enables you to create a customised profile. Once you load a disc, you can back up the content and transfer it to a different media by eliminating the parts that you think are unnecessary. It comes with an uncluttered interface and the buttons have been plainly named so as to make it easy for users to understand. The new version of DVDFab is slimmer and easier to figure out compared to its predecessor.

Recently, DVDFab added a new angle to their products by keeping the prices all the same and eliminating the conversion tools from their DVD burning software and trading them as separate units. However, you can avail all the added features that once used to be an integral part of DVDFab, by paying for the additional features. If you are looking for a plain copy of DVDFab, its default settings would work perfectly for you.  You can download the complete suite of programs by signing up for a free 30-day trial period to try DVD Copy, DVD Ripper, Blu-ray Copy, DVD Convertor and DVD Creator, and  decide which conversion tool you would like to pay for after the 30-day trial period ends. To use DVDFab in the best possible way, it is advisable to purchase and add up some of the conversion tools along with added formats including PVPs, Blu-ray and mobile phones, etc.  Each conversion tool in DVDFab is priced at $49. Those who prefer buying all the blu-ray tools, it costs $250 and may be a bit less.  If you want to buy all the DVD tools again, it will cost $49 per piece. If you want to buy it at a cheaper rate then you must buy it all.

DVDFab has a friendly interface and consists of intuitive controls. It also has some wonderful editing options that allow you to tailor the aspect ratio as well as cropping the video or audio clip. The default settings of this application works perfectly for those who want simple copies of videos; but if you want to add additional features to the DVD, like movie menu or special effects but are not very sure about the specific titles to keep, you can double-click on the title names to view the scenes that appear on the lower left side of the screen.

Above all, DVDFab has an amazing technical support team that assists you regularly. Once you send them your query, they respond to the same within 24 hours.
